Our Family Dog

Our family dog Shelby had to be put to sleep. It was a hard decision for Brian and I to have made. After speaking with the vet, we learned Shelby heart was giving out. She had fluid builted around her heart. That morning Shelby could not walk and was becoming weak. We did not want her to suffer. The decision was made and she went peacefully.
Brianna and Madilyn ask about her everyday. They talk about her and miss her very much. This is our last picture of her.

Paw Paw Irvis & his Girls!!

We go often to visit Paw Paw Irvis. Mostly on a Sunday after church. He works at Dairy Fresh. The girls call him the chocolate man for he always has chocolate milk for them. If we do not show up at Dairy Fresh, you better believe he is wondering where they are.

Sheri & Keri's Birthday Never thought is would snow on this day

Madilyn & Brianna first "SNOW DAY"! They were so excited.. This is the view in front yard

Brianna standing by the truck. She wanted all to see how much snow had fell.
Brianna was playing with the wheel barrel and snow. She has a blast.
The famous snowman created by Madilyn and Me Me. They were cold and fingers were freezing.
Here is a view of our snow day from the back porch.
Brianna making her first snowball.
Madilyn and Me Me making a snowman. Me Me was so glad work was cancelled so she could come over and play in the snow with her babies
This is a day I will never forget. Not only did it snow in Louisiana, but it was my birthday, December 11, 2008. We live on 4 acres of land and was able to over look this beautiful white blanket of snow. It was breath taking. We received about 4 inches early this morning. This most likely will never happen again in a million years but we all loved it while it lasted. The down side was no electricity from 6:00am in morning till 1:00pm the next day.

Less then a hour the girls found just the right tree. Dad cut it down then dragged it out with the girls pushing from behind.
After finding just the right Christmas Tree, we took a hay ride around the tree farm. a hay ride at the end the girls really enjoyed theirselves
This was a cool and beautiful day to go to the Christmas Tree Forest
